Anotace

Frieden und Krieg im mitteleuropäischen Raum. Historisches Gedächtnis und literarische Reflexion - unter diesem Motto durchstreiften an die 50 wissenschaftliche Betreuer und Betreuerinnen von weltweit 68 Österreich-Bibliotheken im Ausland (www.oesterreich-bibliotheken.at) auf ihrer diesjährigen Studienfahrt Böhmens und Mährens Haine und Flure. Von Almaty bis Triest hatten sie sich eingefunden zu dieser vierten biennalen Studienreise, einer Kombination von wissenschaftlicher Tagung, landeskundlicher Exkursion und literarisch-bibliothekarischem Erfahrungsausstauch. Ausschlaggebend bei der Wahl des Themas war vor allem das Gedenken an den Ersten Weltkrieg, der vor 100 Jahren in der ganzen Welt zu nachhaltigen Veränderungen führte. So führte die Fahrt von Wien und zurück vorbei an bedeutenden historischen (Friedens-und Kriegs)Schauplätzen in den Ländern der Böhmischen Krone, die oft, aber nicht immer, mit dem Ausbruch des Ersten Weltkrieges in Zusammenhang zu stellen sind, und brachte den Reisenden auch die Kultur dieser ehemaligen Erbländer der Habsburgermonarchie und des modernen EU-Mitgliedstaates nahe. In Augenschein zu nehmen galt es natürlich in ganz besonderer Weise die drei Städte Budweis, Prag und Brünn, in denen 3 der insgesamt 8 in Tschechien befindlichen Österreich-Bibliotheken zu Hause sind. Neben Stadtbesichtigung und anderen Kulturerlebnissen kam hier die Wissenschaft zu Wort. In drei Teiltagungen wurde erörtert, inwieweit der Ausbruch des Ersten Weltkriegs in die Literatur und die zeitgenössischen Medien Eingang fand und wie sich einzelne Autoren in Vergangenheit und Gegenwart damit auseinandersetzen. Nach Budweis und Prag war Brünn die letzte Station des offiziellen geisteswissenschaftlichen Gedankenaustausches. Die Brünner Konferenz fand am Freitag, dem 26. September, im Universitätskino Scala statt.

Válka a mír ve střední Evropě – v historické paměti a literární reflexi: pod tímto mottem brázdilo na padesát odborných garantů zastupujících 68 Rakouských knihoven v zahraničí (www.oesterreich-bibliotheken.at) české a moravské luhy a háje. Na pozvání dvorní radové Christině Dollingerové se sjeli od Almaty až po Terst k této již čtvrté bienální studijní cestě, představující kombinaci vědecké konference, vlastivědné exkurze a literárně-knihovnické výměny zkušeností. Vedoucí referátu Rakouských knihoven v zahraničí Kulturněpolitické sekce Spolkového ministerstva pro Evropu, integraci a zahraniční věci tuto cestu organizovala pod obvyklou záštitou vedoucího této sekce Martina Eichtingera. O volbě tématu rozhodla především připomínka 1. světové války, která před sto lety vedla k trvalým změnám na evropském kontinentu i mimo něj. Cesta vedla z Vídně a zpět kolem významných historických dějišť v českých zemích, která často spojujeme s vypuknutím válečného konfliktu, ale nejen s ním. Zvláštní pozornosti se dostalo třem městům, Českým Budějovicím (popř. Plzni), Praze a Brně, v nichž se nacházejí 3 z celkem 8 Rakouských knihoven. (Pražská knihovna má jako knihovna Rakouského kulturního fóra zvláštní status.) Vedle prohlídky města a dalších kulturních zážitků se dostaly ke slovu historie, literární a kulturní vědy. Ve třech dílčích kolokviích se diskutovalo o tom, nakolik vypuknutí 1. světové války vstoupilo do literatury a dobových sdělovacích prostředků a jak se s tématem války vypořádávali jednotliví autoři v minulosti i přítomnosti. Po Budějovicích a Praze představovalo poslední zastávku oficiálního vědeckého programu Brno. Brněnská část kolokvia se konala 26. září v Univerzitním kině Scala. Biograf Bio Dopz (Družstvo obchodních a průmyslových zaměstnanců) byl pojmem už mezi válkou. V budově se také nacházela Biberova kavárna, místo setkávání německé a rakouské emigrace před válkou v Brně.

War and Peace in Central Europe in Historical Memory and Literary Reflections: under this motto up to fifty guarantors, representing 68 Austrian libraries abroad (www.oesterreich-bibliotheken.at), cruised Czech and Moravian meadows and groves. At the invitation of aulic council Christina Dollinger they gathered from Almaty to Trieste in this fourth biennial study tour, representing a combination of scientific conferences, excursions and local history literary-library experience sharing. The head of Austrian libraries abroad of the cultural-political section of the Federal Ministry for Europe, Integration and Foreign Affairs organized this trip under the auspices of the usual head of this section Martin Eichtinger. The topic was chosen in the first place because of the anniversary of the First World War a hundred years ago that led to permanent changes on the European continent and beyond. The path led from Vienna and back passing important historic venues in the Czech lands often associated with the outbreak of the war but not solely with it. Special attention was afforded to three towns: České Budějovice (or. Pilsen), Prague and Brno, in which there are three out of the eight Austrian libraries altogether. (Prague library as a library of Austrian Cultural Forum sports a special status.) History, literary and cultural studies also came into play in addition to tours and other cultural experiences. In three sub-colloquia there were discussions about how far the outbreak of the First World War found its reflection in literature and contemporary media and of the way individual authors, past and present, grappled with the issue of the war. After Budějovice and Prague the last stop of the official scientific program was Brno. Brno part of the colloquium was held on September 26th at the University Scala cinema. As biograf Bio Dopz it made name already among the wars. The same building also used to house Biber cafe, a meeting place for German and Austrian emigration.
