We model its light variability using the horizontal distribution of chemical elements in the stellar atmosphere derived from abundance maps. Those elements cause redistribution of the energy from the short-wavelength part of the UV spectrum to longer wavelengths. We compute a grid of LTE model atmospheres, and synthesize a theoretical light curve. The results obtained from our computations are in a very good agreement with the observed variability of the star. ER -
