Pacienti se zavedenou stomií mají odlišné anatomické poměry ve střevě a musí dodržovat jistá stravovací pravidla. Mléko, mléčné výrobky, luštěniny, ovoce a zelenina mohou být pro ně hůře snášeny, ale z hlediska přínosu pro organismus je jejich pravidelná konzumace doporučená. V práci byla porovnávána konzumace těchto potravin u pacientů se stomií a u kontrolního souboru zdravých lidí. K zjišťování dat byl použit dotazník o výživových zvyklostech a 24 hodinový recall. Výsledky: Konzumace mléka, mléčných výrobků a ovoce, zeleniny byla vyšší u stomiků, zastoupení luštěnin v jídelníčku bylo vyšší v kontrolním souboru.

Patients with stoma have different anatomical conditions in the intestine and must follow certain dietary rules. Milk, dairy products, legumes, fruits and vegetables can be worse tolerated for them, but for contributing of their regular consumption for the body are recommended. The authors compared the consumption of these foods in patients with a stoma and a control group of healthy people. Specially constructed questionaire about dietary habits and 24 – hours recall were used for data collecting. Results: The consumption of milk, dairy products and fruits, vegetables was higher in a patients with stoma, presence of legumes in the diet was higher in the control group.
