Abstract
Chapter summarizes the use of dextromethorphan as a marker substrate for CYP2D6 and CYP3A4 metabolic activity determination. The ratio of the concentration of the specific substrate to the metabolite(s) in various biological matrices (saliva, plasma/serum, urine) is the most widely used methodological approach to assess metabolic activity in vivo.
Abstract (in Czech)
Kapitola podává přehled o použití dextrometorfanu jako markeru pro stanovení metabolické aktivity CPY2D6 a CYP3A4 in vivo i in vitro.
