The paper deals with the simulation of the production possibilities frontier (PPF), which the advanced tools of the Maple system offer its users. The PPF illustrates selected basic economic principles including: scarcity, tradeoffs, efficiency, opportunity cost, and economic growth in the predefined special interactive Maple document, which is built into the subsection of Finance and Economics/Math Apps in Maple 2015, which has been released in March 2015 by Maplesoft, Inc. (Canada). The paper also points out its new efficient tools.

Článek se zabývá simulací hranice výrobních možností (PPF), což pokročilé nástroje systému Maple nabízejí svým uživatelům. PPF ilustruje vybrané základní ekonomické principy včetně: vzácnosti, kompromisů, účinnosti, nákladů příležitosti a hospodářský růst v předem definovaném speciálním interaktivním Maple dokumentu, který lze aktivovat v zabudovaném dokumentu v oblasti Finance a ekonomika / Math Apps v Maple 2015. Tato verze byla uvolněna v březnu 2015 společností Maplesoft, Inc. (Kanada). Práce se tak poukazuje na nové a efektivní nástroje systému pro využití v praxi.
