Abstract

Cílem projektu je odhadnout poptávku po přepravní kapacitě na zvolené trase bez přestupů na základě zadavatelem dodaných a na jeho žádost utajených prediktorů. Projekt zadavateli poskytuje 1) metodiku odhadu a predikce poptávky na jím dodaných datech a 2) vtělení této metodiky do softwarového balíku implementovaného v jazyce R. Odhady ekonometrického modelu ukazují statistickou významnost zařazených prediktorů. Praktická použitelnost modelu však vyžaduje zvýšení kvality vstupních dat dodaných zadavatelem.

Abstract (in English)

The goal of the project is estimation of the demand for transportation capacity on selected direct routes conditional on predictors supplied by the project sponsor. (The predictors are undisclosed on the sponsor’s request.) The project supplies the sponsor with 1) a methodology for the demand estimation and prediction given supplied data and 2) implementation of the methodology in software R. The econometric model estimation shows that all supplied predictors are statistically significant. Practical applicability of the model requires improvement in quality of the data provided by the sponsor.
