Anotace

V originále

Specific reading disorder called dyslexia is one of the most famous specific learning disabilities. Reading performance of dyslexic readers, evaluated in terms of speed, accuracy and understanding, is far below the expected level. Many of them have symptoms of visual stress, such as blurring and duplication of text, movement of letters or glare by white background. ChromaGen filters could be effective aid for children with dyslexia and symptoms of visual stress. These filters are characterized like tinted spectacle or contact lenses of well-defined wavelengths. Filters can ensure a resynchronization of information, what can lead to improvement in reading and writing skills. This research compares the immediate effect of ChromaGen filters on reading rate and number of errors at dyslexic children and the control group, which consists of children without reading problems.
