Abstract

Byla realizována kvantitativní výzkumná sonda, která si kladla za cíl zmapovat trávení volného času, výhody a nebezpečí související s moderními informačními a komunikačními technologiemi. Pomocí anonymního dotazníku o 20 položkách byl osloven vzorek 150 žáků 1. stupně ze dvou záměrně vybraných základních škol v severomoravském regionu. Polovina dětí tráví svůj volný čas u počítače, třetina na sociálních sítích. I když je zjevná touha respondentů po pobytu venku, třetina sportuje pouze ve škole v hodinách tělesné výchovy. Tři čtvrtiny vzorku mají doma přístup k internetu, 90 % dotazovaného souboru není nijak omezován potenciálně rizikový obsah. Sotva polovina rodičů sleduje, jaké webové stránky jejich děti navštěvují, otázka počítačové bezpečnosti je značně podceňována.

Abstract (in English)

Quantitative research study was realized with the aim to map out spending the free time, benefits and risks related to modern information and communication technologies. By using anonymous questionnaire of 20 items a sample of 150 students from lower primary of two intentionally selected schools in the North Moravian region was addressed. Half of the children spend their leisure time at the computer, one-third of them on social networks. Although there is an obvious desire of respondents to be outside, one-third of children do sports only at school in physical education lessons. Three-quarters of the sample have an access to the Internet at home, for up to 90% of respondents potentially harmful content is not limited in any way. Barely half of parents monitor what kind of websites their children visit; the issue of cyber security is considerably underestimated.
