Trois aires de production de haches ont été identifiées dans les Alpes suisses et dans les Pyrenées, en associant l´étude des déchets de fabrication et la prospection sur le terrain. Ces trois aires de production ont alimentéles échanges régionaux probablement des le début du Ve millénaire et certainement jusqu´au début de IIIe.

Three areas of axehead production have been identified in the Swiss Alps and in the Pyrenees, thanks to a study of debitage associated with field prospection. These three production areas provided material for exchange at a regional scale, probably from the beginning of the Vth millenium until to the beginning of the third.
