Abstract
V článku autor prehľadnou a prístupnou formou popisuje genézu, priebeh a následky jednej z najslávnejších bitiek neskorej antiky.
Abstract (in English)
In present article the author describes genesis, development and effects of one of the most famous battles of the late antiquity. It's the battle of the Catalaunian fields, in wchi the Huns and their allies under the leadership of the famous Hun ruler Attila, and the Romens with their Allies led by Flavius Aetius took part. The battle itself was very confused and bloody. Its precise reconstruction is very demanding because of the later myths and legendary elements that overshadowed the real events.
