Publikace reflektuje názory čtyř autorů, kteří ve svých teoretických textech analyzují oblasti lidské psychiky. Sdružujícím obsahovým prvkem publikace je samotná terapie uměním. Hana Stehlíková Babyrádová pojednává o roli katarze ve výtvarném projevu čili o vnitřní očistě duše. V textu se dále odráží autorčina zkušenost s arteterapeutickou tvorbou. Pavel Šafář se zaměřil na přiblížení podstaty archetypálních arteterapeutických přístupů. Autorka Jana Ovčáčková nastiňuje důležitost hry v určitých terapeutických metodách. Text Julie Zorkovské se oproti předchozím autorům odkazuje k významu rituálů, který je v úzkém spojení s psychickou nemocí.

The publication reflects the opinions of four authors who analyze the areas of the human psyche in their theoretical texts. The cohesive element of the publication is art therapy itself. Hana Stehlíková Babyrádová deals with the role of catharsis in artistic expression, or the inner purification of the soul. The text also reflects the author's experience with art therapy. Pavel Šafář focused on the nature of archetypal art therapy approaches. Jana Ovčáčková outlines the importance of play in certain therapeutic methods. Julie Zorkovska's text refers to the meaning of rituals in close connection with the psychiatric illness.
