Abstract

V originále

The presentation focused on the issues of freakishness in the works of Robert Browning, with the concentration on two of his most famous short poems: Porhyria's Lover and My Last Duchess, and on his most successful larger work: The Ring and the Book. It uncovered the connection between freakishness and Browning's characters and plots and pointed out to how this attribute is established in the text.
