Anotace

Anhand ausgewählter vor allem deutschsprachiger historiographischer Texte des Hoch- und Spätmittelalters werden die Strategien der Versprachlichung von ‚Herrschaft‘ untersucht. Berücksichtigt werden einerseits die frühe volkssprachliche Produktion des 13. Jh.s (Sächsische Weltchronik), andererseits spätere Werke des 14.–15. Jh.s, die durch Provenienz in den böhmischen Ländern bzw. durch entsprechende thematische Ausrichtung gekennzeichnet sind, teilweise mit Einbeziehung von anderssprachigen Vorlagen oder Parallelfassungen (Text- komplexe der Dalimil-Chronik (mit dem vorangestellten annalistischen Abriss), Pulkava-Chronik und Vita Caroli). Dadurch wird die zentrale Rolle von ‚Herrschaft‘ in dieser Gattung dargelegt, wobei zugleich der Einsatz relativ unterschiedlicher sprachlich-formulatorischer Mittel beobachtet werden kann.

Anotace česky

Na základě vybraných německých historiografických textů vrcholného a pozdního středověku jsou sledovány strategie jazykového vyjádření konceptu vlády a panování. Zohledněna je jednak časná německá tvorba v národním jazyce ve 13. století (Saská světová kronika), jednak pozdější díla 14.–15. století charakterizovaná proveniencí resp. tematickým zaměřením na české země; částečně jsou zahrnuty jinojazyčné předlohy či paralelní zpracování (vedle německých latinské a české – Dalimilova kronika (včetně analistického přehledu), Pulkavova kronika, Autobiografie Karla IV. Vita Caroli). Celkovým srovnáním je doložena centrální role sémantického pole ‚vládnutí, panování‘ v textech tohoto žánru a zároveň je ilustrována relativní různorodost využitých jazykových prostředků, způsobů vyjádření a stylizace.

Anotace anglicky

Based on selected German historiographical texts from the High Middle Ages and Late Middle Ages the strategies in the formulation and verbal expression of rule and reign are discussed. On the one hand, an early vernacular text of this kind is taken into account (Saxon World Chronicle, 13th century), on the other hand several later works from the 14th–15th century, which are characterised by their origin from the Bohemian lands or the respective topical scope. In part, other language versions are considered, be it original texts or parallel translations (besides German in Latin and Czech): The Dalimil Chronicle (including introductory German annals), Pulkava-Chronicle and the Autobiography of Charles IV. of Luxembourg, Vita Caroli. In the comparison, the central role of the semantic field ‘rule, reign’ in the texts of this genre is documented, while at the same time a comparatively differentiated spectrum of the linguistic means of expressing the respective concepts and also the preferred modes of stylisation are identified.
