Abstract

Aquesta monografi a analitza l’estructura del sintagma nominal en catalá des d’una perspectiva teórica i descriptiva, amb l’objectiu de determinar les propietats sintáctiques de l’estructura argumental dels noms en catalá. També intenta oferir una visió general de la materialització sintáctica d’aquests noms en catalá i donar resposta als principals patrons de regularitat. En defi nitiva, tractarem de donar resposta a la pregunta següent: «Com es manifesten sintácticament els arguments dels noms en catalá?». Aixó comporta, básicament, haver de resoldre les tres preguntes secundáries següents: «Quins noms admeten arguments en catalá?», «Quina és la forma dels complements argumentals dels noms? De qué depén?», i «Quin ordre tenen els complements argumentals dels noms quan n’apareix més d’un?». Per fer-ho, ens hem servit de les dades obtingudes de més de 200 noms grácies al Corpus textual informatitzat de la llengua catalana (CTILC), preparat com a part de l’activitat lexicográfi ca de l’Institut d’Estudis Catalans.

Monografie se věnuje analýze argumentové struktury podstatných jmen v katalánštině, a to jak z pohledu teoretického, tak i deskriptivního. Jejím účelem je určit a systematicky klasifikovat vlastnosti argumentové struktury podstatných jmen v katalánštině, nabídnout přehled jejich syntaktických vlastností a vysvětlit modely pravidelností vyvozených ze studovaného materiálu. S položením primární otázky „Jak se syntakticky projevují argumenty podstatných jmen v katalánštině?“ jsou spojeny také tři sekundární otázky, a to „Která podstatná jména v katalánštině přijímají argumenty?“, dále „Jakou podobu mají nominální argumenty v katalánštině? Na čem závisí?“, a konečně „Jaké je řazení argumentových komplementů podstatných jmen v případech, kdy jich najdeme více v rámci jednoho syntagmatu?“. K nalezení odpovědí a k provedení analýzy využívá autorka data o více než 200 podstatných jménech, která byla získána z Informatizovaného textového korpusu katalánského jazyka (Corpus textual informatitzat de la llengua catalana – CTILC).

Abstract (in English)

This book analyzes the structure of noun phrases in Catalan from a theoretical and descriptive perspectives, with the main purpose of determining and systematizing the properties of the argument structure of nominals in Catalan. It also intends to offer a general view of its syntactic materialization in Catalan and to offer some explanation to the main regular patterns. The main question of this research, “How do nominal arguments in Catalan syntactically materialize?” implies having to answer to three secondary questions: “Which are the nouns that admit arguments in Catalan?”, “How are nominal arguments realized in Catalan? What do realizations depend on?”, and “What is the order of the argument complements of the nouns when more than one argument appears in the same phrase?”. To solve these enquiries, the author analyzed from more than 200 nouns, which was obtained from the Textual computerized corpus of the Catalan (Corpus textual informatitzat de la llengua catalana – CTILC).
