Abstract
This work brings results of neurolinguistic research concerning languages forgotten in childhood and their possible activation in adulthood. If the languages are only hidden and not forgotten, it is necessary to ask if they play a role in language acquisition later on and what the role is and to investigate what the reasons of our not being able to access them might be.
