Methine protons on glycoluril units are pointing to the center of cavity forming weak bonds with anions. Binding properties of dodecabenzylbambus[6]uril (Bn12BU[6]) with inorganic anions in chloroform were well studied by means of 1H NMR and ITC measurements. Here we present the synthesis of anionic organic rods and their complexes with bambusuril. ER -
