Introduction explains the focus of the book: this book is the first of two volumes presenting the main findings from a European research project examining the consequences of early job insecurity and labour market exclusion for Europeans when they are young. It maps the causes and consequences of early job insecurity and related national and European policy responses.

Úvod vysvětluje záměr knihy: jde o první ze dvou publikací prezentujících hlavní zjištění evropského výzkumného projektu zkoumajícího důsledky nejistot na trhu práce v raném věku a sociálního vyloučení pro mladé Evropany. Zjišťuje příčiny a důsledky těchto raných nejistot a k nim zaměřené odpovědi opatření veřejných politik v evropských zemích.
