Abstract
The objective of this article is to show the reader the current Church’s position on family planning, which is the opposition to modern contraception; analyze the Church’s reasons for it; and argue to the reader the unsustainability of these reasons in the light of consequences opposition to contraception brings. The article concludes with an appeal for the Catholic Church to officially give approval to contraceptive use or to at least officially leave it to the individual consciousness of Catholic Christian women and couples.
