Abstract

Svět muzeí je do značné míry odrazem proměn společnosti na globální i národní úrovni. Je tudíž ovlivněn předchozím vývojem oboru, hodným reflexe. Období první republiky, druhé světové války a nástupu komunistické totality u nás výrazně ovlivňovala činnost Svazu československých muzeí. Cílem konference je připomenout některé aspekty vývoje českého a slovenského muzejnictví dané doby a nastínit témata, která stojí za hlubší výzkum. Kolokvium by mělo hledat odpověď na otázku, zda a v čem existuje kontinuita snažení Svazu československých muzeí s nynějšími profesními sdruženími působícími na území České a Slovenské republiky. Je také příležitostí zamyslet se nad aktuálními problémy našeho oboru a porovnat přístupy k jejich řešení v českých zemích a na Slovensku.

Abstract (in English)

The museum world is to a large extent a reflection of societal transformations at global and national levels. It is therefore influenced by the prior development of the field, worthy of reflection. Period first Republic, the Second World War and the advent of communist totalitarianism in our country significantly influenced the activities of the Union of Czechoslovak Museums. The aim of the conference is to recall some aspects of the development of Czech and Slovak museums of the time and outline the topics that are worth deeper research. The colloquium should seek the answer to the question of whether and in what way there is a continuity of efforts of the Union of Czechoslovak Museums with current professional associations operating in the Czech and Slovak Republics. It is also an opportunity to think and to compare approaches to their solution in the Czech lands and Slovakia.
