Abstract

Studie se zabývá neznámým glorietem v Širokém lese ("Breiten Wald") u Břeclavi. Neznáme dobu vzniku a ani architekta. Je však možné, že stavba vznikla v prostoru bažantnice nejpravděpodobněji na konci 18. století, tedy za Aloise I. Josefa knížete z Liechtensteina. V této době totiž byly realizovány na knížecích panstvích totožné typy staveb. Jsou doloženy i drobné opravy v roce 1813, přesto však přelomový byl pro historii stavby rok 1854, kdy se z bývalého odpočinkového a výhledového lusthausu stala, podle plánů knížecího architekta Josepha Poppelacka, přízemní stavba spíše s hospodářským využitím. V této podobě zůstala zachována a zakonzervována až do zmíněného roku 2016, kdy celý objekt prošel rozsáhlou rekonstrukcí. V souvislosti se samotným areálem bažantnice byla věnována pozornost i objektu dnes již neexistující hájovny.

Abstract (in English)

The study deals with an unknown gloriette in the Wide Forest (“Breiten Wald”) near Břeclav. We do not know the date of the beginning of construction or the architect. Nevertheless, it is possible that the building was built in the area of the feudal period, most likely at the end of 18th century, during the reign of Prince Alois I. Joseph of Liechtenstein. At that time, identical types of buildings appeared on the princely estates. Small repairs are evidenced in 1813 but the year 1854 was a turning point for the history of the building. The former rest and scenic “lusthaus” became a ground floor building for practical purposes, according to the plans by the princely architect Joseph Poppelack. The building remained in this form until 2016 when the whole building was reconstructed. Attention was also paid to the keeper´s house, no longer existent today.
