From the point of our research, the strength is generally increased where fracturing occurs oblique to the planes. Thus, the lower average strength values at the angles 30 and 45 degrees are the result of lower friction coefcients of the planes of weakness consisting of biotite fakes along the newly-formed cracks propagate.
