Anotace

Viaggiare nel tempo e' impossibile, lo sanno tutti. Studiare il passato e' pertanto una ricerca appratente infinita: possiamo raccogliere dati, interpretarli, costruire delle ipotesi, ma la certezza ci manchera' sempre. Il presente intervento vuole introdurre un metodo nuovo, per capire le societa' del passato. Si tratta di usare il corpo umano come una “macchina” biologica per cercare di capire le costanti pre-culturali attuali ieri come oggi. Una prima parte empirica, dedicata alla percezione del tempo di un pellegrino, sara' quindi seguita da una “verifica” nelle fonti del passato. Sara' quindi la “natura” a completare la nostra conoscenza della “cultura”.

Traveling through time is impossible, everyone knows it. Studying the past is therefore an endless learning research: we can collect data, interpret it, build hypotheses, but we will always miss certainty. The present intervention aims to introduce a new methodology, to understand the societies of the past. It is a question of using the human body as a biological "machine" to try to understand the pre-cultural constants into the human experience of past and present. A first empirical part, will be dedicated to the perception of the time by present-day pilgrims, it will follow by a "verification" in the sources of the past. It will therefore be the analysis of the "nature" to complete our knowledge of "culture".
