The Classical Russian Novel in Literary-Historical Perspective The lecture was delivered to the students of a special seminar. The lecturer dealt with the specific features of the development of the Russian novel in the context of European novel tradition accentuating his term pre-post effect/paradox and applying it to the structural analysis of the Russian novel based on both the autochthonous and allochthonous generic roots.

Přednáška byla pronesena k studentům speciálního semináře. Přednášející pojednal o specifických rysech vývoje ruského románu v kontextu evropské románové tradice se zdůrazněním pojmu prae-post efekt/paradox a aplikoval je na strukturní analýzu ruského románu založeného jak na autochtonních, tak na allochtonních rodových kořenech.
