Twelve elite female basketball players of 1st division participated in this research. Players performed various tests to assess power (countermovement jump, drop jump), linear speed (5, 10, 20 m linear sprint), change of direction speed (505 test), and reactive agility (Y-shaped test). Pearson’s correlation coefficient showed: almost perfect association between Y test and countermovement jump (r = 0.91); a very large association between Y test and DJ (r = -0.81) and 20 m linear sprint (r = 0.79); and a large or small association between Y test and other variables. Based on these results, basketball coaches of female players can benefit from the performance of reactive agility when developing power and linear speed. ER -
