Abstract
V originále
This chapter examines populist radical right discourses on immigration in Central and Eastern Europe, looking at the cases of the Czech Republic and Slovakia between 1993 and 2014. It builds upon frame analysis of different populist radical right parties’ documents and examines presence, intensity and forms of anti-immigrant frames. It asks how economic and refugee crises have impacted (if any) on the mobilization of the populist radical right and which forms has the opposition to the democratic and pluralistic system through emphasis on anti-immigrant discourse taken? The chapter tries to understand the symbolic construction of the topic through analyses of saliency and content of issues and frames, which the populist radical right parties associate with immigrants and immigration.
