The chapter is focused on trasformative fans and their creativity in the context of mainstream media production representing, or more precisely not representing, marginalized sexualities. The chapter shows what can fans do about bad media representation in their own creative work, and how to rewrite the stories from mainstream media to better fit their experiences and needs.
