Abstract

Termínem polypragmazie v medicíně a farmacii označujeme předepisování, podávání anebo užívání více léčiv. V příspěvku se autoři zaměří na etymologii a význam tohoto pojmu, jeho významové ekvivalenty a výskyt těchto pojmů v odborné literatuře. Představí základní koncepty vymezení/charakteristiky tohoto pojmu a pokusy o kvantifikaci polypragmazie.

Abstract (in English)

Polypharmacy in medicine and pharmacy refers to the prescribing, administration or use of more medicines. The authors of the contribution focus on the etymology and meaning of this term, its equivalents and the occurrence of these terms in professional pharmaceutical/medical literature. The basic concepts of the definition of this term and attempts on its quantification are presented.
