Abstract (in English)
The paper dealt with translation activities from and to Modern Greek which were carried out between the two peoples at the beginning of the 20th century. On Czech soil at that time we observe a growing interest in cultural contacts with the newly established Greek state and the first attempts to translate not only Greek literature into Czech, but also Czech literature into Greek.
