Seznámení účastníků kurzu Masarykovy juniorské univerzity se životem vikingů, osídlením Islandu a Grónska, ságami o nalezení nové pevniny (Vinlandu), možnostmi normanských lodí a dobové navigace, jazykovými a archeologickými doklady o úspěšných plavbách Normanů k břehům Ameriky.

In English

The participants of the course called MJuni accepted knowledge about the life of Vikings, the settlement of Iceland and Greenland, of the sagas speaking about the discovering of a new continent (called in those days Vinland), the qualities of Norman ships, the sea-guiding of that time, about the philological and archaeological evidence of the successful navigations of Normans to the shores of America.
