Abstract
The study summarizes and analytically surveys the source base on the life and work of composer Jan Novák (1921-1984), the core of which is located in the depository of the Czech Museum of Music in Prague, and also comments on other places of storage of partial source units.

Studie shrnuje a analyticky obhlíží pramennou základnu k životu a dílu skladatele Jana Nováka (1921-1984), jejíž jádro se nachází v depozitáři Českého muzea hudby v Praze a komentuje též další místa uložení dílčích pramenných celků.
