Abstract
In my paper, I analyzed the external possessor construction (EPC) in Greek, focusing on the late Medieval period. My aim was to trace the development of EPC after its reanalysis toward the genitive-marked possessor in the NT Greek (Gianollo 2020). The 14th/15th c. vernacular texts provide us with new evidence to draw preliminary conclusions about the ongoing reorganization of the EPC and the syntactic factors enabling it.
