Abstract

Der Aufsatz fokussiert auf die Nutzungsmöglichkeiten des kollektives Gedächtnisses und der Erinnerungsorte in Deutsch als Fremdsprache. Dabei werden theoretische Grundlagen und praktische Erfahrungen und Vorschläge für die Arbeit mit fortgeschrittenen Deutschlernenden im südafrikanischen Hochschulkontext präsentiert.

The article focuses on the possible uses of collective memory and places of memory in German as a foreign language lessons. Theoretical basics and practical experiences and suggestions for working with advanced learners of German in the South African university context are presented.
