Anotace

In this presentation, we explored the complex web of media representations to try to understand the many facets of the Russo-Ukrainian War and its far-reaching effects on queerness in the (Post)global South. We challenged prevalent narratives and advance a more nuanced view of this complicated conflict by bringing light on the experiences and hardships of people living in Ukraine and those who were impacted by it.

V této prezentaci jsem prozkoumala složitou síť mediálních reprezentací, abych se pokusila porozumět mnoha aspektům rusko-ukrajinské války a jejím dalekosáhlým dopadům na queerness na (post)globálním jihu. Zpochybnila jsem převládající narativy a posunula jsem podrobnější pohled na tento komplikovaný konflikt tím, že jsem osvětlila zkušenosti a komplikace lidí žijících na Ukrajině a těch, kteří byli tímto konfliktem ovlivněni.
