Abstract

The article summarizes the contributions of a conference Retelling Prester John, which took place in May 2023 at the University Sapienza di Roma. It als draws attention to the specific adaptation of the myth of Prester John among the dissenting religious groups in 15th century Bohemia.

Článek shrnuje příspěvky z konference Retelling Prester John, která se uskutečnila v květnu 2023 v římě na univerzitě Sapienza. Mimo to také naznačuje využití legnedy o knězi Janovi mezi nekatolíky v Čechách v 15. století.
