Abstract
The distribution of 82Br-bromide in 15 different organs and tissues of rats has been determined by means of high-resolution gamma-ray spectrometry at different times after the application of Na82Br. A remarkably high concentration of 82Br was found in the skin which represented, due to its large mass, the most abundant depot of bromide in the body of rats.
