Transformace pojišťovnictví v ČR po období platnosti zákona o pojišťovnictví z roku 1991 vycházela z nového pohledu na pojišťovnictví jako na specifické odvětví ekonomiky se specifickými črty a charakteristikou. První část příspěvku je věnována transformaci pojišťovnictví a jejímu průběhu. Ve druhé části je uveden postup transformace a charaktersitka současného stavu pojišťovnictví v ČR.

Transformation of insurance industry in the Czech Republic after year 1991 came of new view on the insurance industry. This insurance industry had a specific characteristics.First part of the paper is about transformation of insurance industry, second part is about transformation procedure and characteristics of of actual status in insurance industry in the Czech Republic.
