Abstract
The aim of presented study was to investigate possible effect of caffeic acid (CA) in combination with known differentiating agents, all-trans retinoic acid (ATRA) or dimethylsulfoxide (DMSO) respectively, on the HL-60 human myeloid leukemia cell line. Treatment of the HL-60 cells by CA in combination with known differentiation inductors ATRA and DMSO leads to the reduction of cell viability and increased frequency of apoptosis.
