Abstract

Cílem studie bylo popsat různorodost sociálních konstruktů dětství v českém laickém a odborném diskursu od 70. let 20. století po současnost. Na základě ilustrací z analýz autobiografických vyprávění a rozhovorů s českými respondenty dvou generací dospělých získaných během terénního výzkumu v letech 2000-2001 a ilustrací z expertního diskursu z vybraných odborných publikací z let 1970-2001 se autor snaží zachytit změnu v utváření představ o dětství v kontextu kolapsu komunismu a následujících sociálních změn v české postkomunistické společnosti. Vedle různosti způsobů konstruování představ dětství se snaží autor identifikovat, zdali a jak jsou reflektovány rozdíly mezi socialistickým a postsocialictickým dětstvím a jak se v současném diskursu re-konstruují představy dětství.

Abstract (in English)

The aim of the study is to describe the variety of the social constructions of childhood in the Czech professional and unprofessional discourses since 1970s up to contemporary time. The author illustrates his analysis by the extracts from the autobiographical interviews with the Czech respondents representing two generations, which were collected during the field research in 2000-2001, as well as by the selected professional texts written in 1970-2001. The author attempts to trace the changes in the images of childhood in the context of the collapse of the Communism and further social transformations of the Czech society and considers if and how the differences between the socialist and post-socialist childhood are reflected in the contemporary childhood-images re-constructing discourse.
