Abstract
Abstract (in English)
The article presents four examples of organising the relations between schools and families in view of their co-operation and mutual support. Four projects are portrayed: the German All-day school; the American Partnership of the school, the family and the community; the School family, carried out in the German lands of Baden-Württemberg, Bavaria, and Hessen; and the British Agreements of parents and the school. The projects vary greatly in their timings and places, starting points, and spans. The writers have struggled to present the selected models comprehensively, with regard to the national contexts, discussing them in the framework of the actual situation in the Czech Republic and mentioning the debates they incited. None of these models, however, can be regarded as the only possible or correct one, all four having their pros and cons.
