Anotace
Family relationships contribute considerably to the development of mental health of children and youths. Projective methods are prefered before questionnaires due to the age of the respondents. The drawing indisputably belongs to the most appropriate methods used in the childhood and the adolescence. The most popular is the drawing of the family and of the enchanted family where the members of the family are pictured as various animals. The poster presents informations about the application of the Three Arbor Test whose author is Portuguese professor Corboz. Test had not been known yet in the Czech Republic. Thus, the result of several pilot studies is presented. The test was administered to several groups: e.g. a group of children aged 6 and more; a group of children aged between 10 and 12 years; also a group of adolescents aged between 14 and 18 years. The oldest group consisted of juvenile delinquents aged between 20-26. Preliminary results indicate that the test is very useful in the research studies on the child and adolescent population, it is able to discriminate the appointed factors, and it is highly informative. The future of the test is very promising. The possibility of the further exploitation of the test will be negotiated with the author of the test. Provided the negotiations are successfull the psychometric data can be established and the Three Arbor Test can become a part of our diagnostic instrumentation.
