Abstract
Allium cepa (cibule) nemá na koncích chromosomů typické rostlinné telomery. Pomocí metody TRAP (telomere repeat amplification protocol) bylo zjištěno, že neobsahuje rostlinnou telomerázu, ani jiný její variantní typ (Chlamydomonas, lidský, Tetrahymena).
Abstract (in English)
Allium cepa (onion) lack a typical plant telomeres at the end of chromosomes. Using TRAP (telomere repeat amplification protocol) method we found out that they don not have neither plant telomerase or other variants of telomerases (Chlamydomonas, human, Tetrahymena).
