Abstract
The aim of our study was to show individually different response of baroreflex sensitivity (BRS), pulse interval variability (PIvar) and systolic blood pressure variability (SBPvar) to exercise. The cardiovascular changes of SBPvar and PIvar were not uniform between subjects in a response to exercise. Response 1: An increase in SBPvar together with a decrease in PIvar (22 subjects). In 21 of them BRS decreased also. Response 2: In 14 subjects, variability in both, PI and SBP was increased, BRS decrease in 11 subjects. Response 3: In 15 subjects, the variability in both SBP and PI decreased together with a decreased BRS.
