Außer Eduard Kulke und Max Grünfeld waren sie assimiliert, bevorzugten nicht jüdische Themen bzw. thematisierten nicht Probleme der eigenen jüdischen Identität. Obwohl sie meistens in Wien lebten, blieben sie ein Teil des mährischen literarischen Diskurses. Jakob Julius David, Philipp Langmann und Oskar Jellinek schrieben über tschechischsprachige mährische Dorfbewohner. Ihre konservative Petik und die katastrophale politische Geschichte Mitteleuropas im XX. Jh. ließen ihr Werk vergessen. Aus der Perspektive der Kulturgeschichte wird es wieder entdeckt. ER -
