Abstract

Těhotenství mladistvých dívek je problémem nejen zdravotním, ale též sociálním, protože takové mladé rodiny se stávají rizikovější nejen z hlediska jejich soudržnosti, ovlivněním jejich dalšího vzdělanostního a společenského postavení, ale hlavně působením na vývoj jejich dětí. Objektem naší studie byly mladistvé matky s trvalým bydlištěm v Brně, které tvořily část Evropské longitudinální studie těhotenství a dětství (ELSPAC), která sleduje rodiny dětí narozených od 1.3.1991 do 30.6.1992. Z této databáze bylo vybráno 283 poprvé těhotných žen ve věku 14-19 let, které ukončily těhotenství porodem dítěte. Po 3 letech jsme v roce l995 provedli nové šetření, kdy bylo kontaktováno 204 takto vybraných žen. Sledovali jsme nejen zdravotní rizika těhotenství těchto žen, ale zkoumali jsme i příčiny a důsledky raných těhotenství. Zaměřili jsme se na údaje popisující průběh dětství těchto dívek v rodině (životní události v dětství, stabilita rodinného prostředí, styl výchovy v původní rodině, složení rodiny, její vzdělanostní úroveň, socioprofesní status rodičů atd). Zjišťovali jsme i další vývoj těchto mladých manželství, vzdělanostní úroveň matek atd.

Abstract (in English)

Pregnancy of adolescent girls is not only health but also social problem, as such young families are more risky not only from the viewpoint of their cohessiveness, influencing their further educational and social position but especially from the viewpoint of influence on the development of their children. The objects of our study are adolescent mothers with permanent habitation in Brno, who created a part of European Longitudinal Study of Pregnancy and Childhood (ELSPAC), which is observing families of children born from 1.3.1991 to 30.6.1992. 283 primigravids at the age of 14-19, who finished their pregnancy by delivery of the child, were chosen from this databasis. We had made new observation after three years in 1995. 204 of these women were contacted.We have investigated not only health risks and pregnancies of these women but we have also explored the causes and consequences of early pregnancies.We aimed to data describing the course of childhood of these girls in family (life events in childhood, stability of family environment, upbringing in original family, composition of family, educational level of the family, social and professional position of parents etc). We found out also further development of these young matrimonies, educational level of mothers etc.
