Abstract
The paper deal with comparison of distribution therapeutic efficacy and side effects of long term paroxetine treatment within 50 patients genotyped and phenotyped to determine their metabolic status. No variation in therapeutic efficacy and common adverse effects between subjects classified as poor metabilisers and extensice metabolisers were found. A significantkly higher rate of sexual dysfunction was recored among patients with a PM Phenotype.

Článek uvádí rozložení metabolického statusu u pacientů léčených paroxetinem. Srovnává vedl.účinky léčby a pomalý metabolický fenotyp. Rozdíl byl nalezen ve výskytu sex.dysfunkcí, který byl vyšší u pomalého fenotypu.
