Abstract
The paper presents a new concept of using Level of Detail in haptics - Velocity Driven LOD. This approach can be used for better perceiving of the explored surface.

Článek představuje nové pojetí používání techniky LOD v haptice, LOD řízené rychlostí pohybu prstu uživatele. S využitím této techniky lze dosáhnout lepší kvality vnímání prozkoumávaného povrchu.
