Abstract

L'étude essaie de donner une image des traits fondamentaux du "postmoderne", tels qu'ils se présentent dans l'oeuvre romanesque de l'un des plus importants représentants de la littérature contemporaine Jean Echenoz. La conception du texte prend pour le point de départ l'essai du plus important philosophe de la postmodernité européenne, Jean François Lyotard: "Réécrire la modernité" de 1988. Au plan général, Lyotard y analyse des phénomčnes que l'on peut dépister également, au plan littéraire, chez des auteurs contemporains, parmi lesquels notamment Echenoz.

Abstract (in Czech)

Studie se poukouší zachytit základní rysy "postmodernity" v románovém díle souasného francouzsky píšícího autora Jeana Echenoze. Koncepn vychází z textu fr. filosofa postmodernity v Evrop Jeana-Françoise Lyotarda "Réécrire la modernité" z roku 1988. Zde se v obecné rovin popisují jevy, jež lze vystopovat na úrovni literární rovnž v próze nkterých souasných francouzských autor, z nichž je v tomto ohledu nejmarkantnjší zejména dílo Jeana Echenoze.

Abstract (in English)

The essay tries to deal with the fundamental features of the "Postmodernity" in the novelistic works of Jean Echenoz, one of the most important authors of the French contemporary literature. As to the conception it is based on the text of the French philosopher of the Postmodernity in Europe, Jean-François Lyotard: "Rewrinting the Modernity". On a more general level, phenomena are being described here, which can be traced on the literary level also in the prose of some of the contemporary French authors; the work of Jean Echenoz being from this respect remarkable indeed.
