Abstract
On the contrary to results of previous study realized in mice, in rats on the same dosage regimen a phenomenon of behavioural sensitization to methamphetamine stimulatory effects on locomotion was not confirmed. Instead, with the exception on the Day 21 in females, a significant dose dependent decrease (tolerance) of distance run appeared following the repeated drug treatment and female rats displayed a greater tolerance than males did.
