Temperature sensors were set into the depths of 2,5,10,,15 and 20 cm. Soil temperatute was measured in 1 h interval and stored into a data logger. Due to microrelief differences resulting in diferently-lasting snow cover, the physiologically-active time for mosses was estimated 40 and 110 days. ER -
