Abstract
Halogenated hydrocarbons represent very serious threat for ground and surface waters. They can be removed by the application of zero-valent iron. Reaction is generally represented by 1st order kinetics. Isotopes of C can be used to evaluate reaction progress. Reactive transport modeling is used to predict precipitation of secondary minerals in reactive material.
Abstract (in Czech)
Chlorované uhlovodíky reprezentují vážné nebezpečí pro podzemní a povrchové vody. Mohou být odstraněny aplikací nulmocného železa. Reakce je obvykle popisována kinetikou 1. řádu. Isotopy C mohou být použity k posouzení reakce. Modelování reaktivního transportu je používáno k předpovědi vysrážení sekundárních minerálů v reaktivním materiálu.
